I agree on most people not wanting to negotiate. Someone has to spend a lot of time on "hold" with insurance companies and medical offfices (labs, Dr offices, Rx providers, etc ,etc) waiting & waiting and having to call back, or waiting for the unreturned call back.

Then, after you spend hours, days, weeks on the phone, or emails, you talk to someone that says "oh, you could've gotten by for much less if you had told them something or another you didn't.

I realize some people enjoy the game however. I wouldn't.
