| The K State football turn around with Bill Snyder in the 90s is equally or more impressive in my opinion. K State was a play away from playing in the National Championship game in 1998 (lost in double OT in the Big 12 championship game)...after having the worst program in the nation (called "Futility U" by SI in the late 80s). Snyder didn't have the luxury to use the portal to buy talent like coaches have now.
I am not trying to take away from what Indiana is doing, I think there just is some recently bias getting thrown around. It was great to see them demolish Alabama last night.
