What if you made 2 half width gates that each had a folding extension?
The 2 half gates would come together to close the sort pen off. To send to pasture, open the “left one”, and unfold the extension. The “right” one swings in and lays against the sort pen fence.
Swap sides to send to the barn. In other words, make each side fold in half. Make sense?
