Subject: 2x2 dry fertilizer with Soybeans

Sharpening my pencil this year with bean fertilizer, in the past I have spread 300lb of 9-23-30 ahead of planting as thats what soil samples called for. My planter is set up dry fertilizer with extensions and I have dry fertilizer figured out as far as refilling, takes 10 minutes usually so that doesn't bother me. Was curious how much I could cut back if I did a 2x2 vs surface broadcast? Or how much I could safely put in the band and not hurt seed germ? Was hoping to cut back to 200lb/acre but not sure if that would be too much in a 2x2. Could always spread some and also 2x2 which is what I am kinda thinking. Only 170 acres to do so not like I will be pressed for time. 12 row kinze planter that can hold ~4000lbs of dry fertilizer so was thinking I could refill every 3 times I dump bags of seed into the planter or something like that. Located in south east Ohio, silt loam soil, majority of my acres is rented. Some will be no till some will be chiseled/soil finished.

Did some searches on here but couldn't find any answers to my above questions. Thanks in advance!
