Cows are a good option on land that is rocky, steep or has poor soil. Most of my farm land fits this description pretty well. If I had good, fairly level, fertile black soil my name on AgTalk likely would be something entirely different, maybe something such as "Tennessee Row Cropper".
Are we doing it wrong?
