So let’s say you rented a farm cheap on a five year deal. You and the LL work together to clear trees, fix fences, lay tile, widen driveways, get pH and fertility just right, etc. Then your landlord comes and tells you at year 3 he’s transferring to the farmer two counties over for big $. You say you want reimbursement for various improvements, and his response is “sounds anti competitive to me.” What do you say next? Also, in your example corn has skyrocket in price to 400.00 bu and you made 60k acre profit. As the schools do with added exposure
What are you talking about? Nobody has made 100x expectations on “exposure.”

Some of those N. Texas freshman might 100x from where they started. Its not like they they are taking the field hose or part of the field with them. Why should their old colleges get any equity on future earnings?

Again, what are you talking about? Did the schools make anything on “exposure”? We aren’t talking about Texas freshman, it’s the schools getting robbed when their investment gets picked off by someone else.
