Central Kentucky | I purchased a Safety Zone for my Kubota RTV this year and believe it was the best move I made all year. Calved 55 cows in 30 days and worked every one by myself. Main advantage for me is moving the pairs to a different pasture after calving. Main thing with catchers is to work the calves in the first 24 hours.
I have the most gentle set of cows I have ever owned but if you mess with their calves the first few days they will take your head off. After using a catcher I wouldn't want to be without one. | |
