If the two options are Harbor Freight and high end expensive, why not buy from a well established company that actually makes their own tools, like Wright, and doesn't contract them out like Snap On does?

Why pay for an expensive middle man's name?

Wright wrench heads are larger than SO. And wright doesn’t offer the product portfolio of SO. The more I can buy/warranty in one place the better. I’m not going to 15 different stores/websites to buy/warranty tools.

So...you just sit in your yard for a few weeks or chase the truck or?

Wright is the first name off the top of my head that I thought of but the local Napa carries quite a few US made brands, that is how I found them, and found out they sell more than autoparts.

Dealer comes to the farm. Or I just track him down if I’m in town anyways. Anything over basic hand tools is pretty hard to find locally unless it’s from the tool trucks. Mail in warranty is a pita compared to handing the dealer a broken tool and receiving a new one. Special items I’ll just text him ahead of time to have him order a replacement.
