We had one of the single hose units but it was cool only. The problem is the amount of moisture it takes out as humidity. It requires dumping the water several times a day. Hae you thought about PTAC unit? We put one in a 400 square foot office and it heats and cools very efficiently.
Must have had an older one? Most all new ones drip the water onto the coils and then it is blown out the hose. I never once dumped our all year
