Subject: RE: OMAD [one meal a day] Diet

Southern Indiana
I’ve been doing it since June. It’s been working for me. I don’t have any desire to eat breakfast or lunch. I’ve also been going as few carbs as possible for my evening meal. I’m a type 1 diabetic and thought it would be really hard but have adjusted pretty good. If I have a low blood sugar I just drink orange juice or a small regular soda but I really have a hard time drinking regular soda. I’m a little embarrassed to of where I started. I was at 289 when I started and I told my wife my goal was 240 by new years. I missed my goal but the scales said 241.6 this morning. The only thing I have noticed since the first 20 lbs is I will go about 3 weeks with very little loss then have a week to 10 days of good loss. My bolus insulin has been the biggest change. I was using around 80 units of bolus a day and I’m under 10 units a day now. On days I stay active I can keep it under 5 units. The only thing I’ve really done backwards is before I was doing one meal I only allowed myself one diet my dew day. I still do the one dew but usually have a diet dr pepper in the afternoon or evening
