Saronville NE
In my experience stockers work better on intensize grazing can run 3 hd to the acre. Look at pounds gained, financially itll pencil about the best.

But cows will work.

We have a small pivot next to the feedlot. We graze calves on in spring on rye to bare dirt then turn into pasture, plant another feed in it, then when calving our fall cows we turn pairs in it to graze instead of dirt lot for health. Run on thst till go to cornstalks. Pencil w low inputs,it pencils better than corn. Drilled a small submersible well and put a short pivot on it 2 yrs ago, works lots better than dryland now if gets dry. But i own it so no LL saying i cant.
