I could write volumes about what I think about the portal and NIL but I won't because I don't have the energy or interest, my interest in college sports is gradually falling. Skimming the posts in this thread I find it interesting that the posters from Ohio and Alabama love it, the rest not so much. The bottom line the big dog is going to eat the rest of us will be left with scraps.

Like you said in your other post it’s out open. Maybe less grifters and criminals involved in college sports.

Like betting being in your pocket does it reduce criminal acts around pro and college sports or increase it? Illegal gambling will still be around because it’s off the tax rolls but does legal gambling being potentially larger encourage more game rigging?
