North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana | Interesting how different areas have different "most popular" products. Here we are the RV factory capital of the world. It takes trucks to move them from all the factories to the distributor/dealer. So I can see a hundred trucks on the busy days on a major highway. Back in the early 2000's it was predominantly Dodge pickups with a bunch of Ford's. The Duramax took over almost instantly and still a bunch of Ford's. It's been pretty even the last decade but starting to see more GM again. Ford is the constant. Never dominant but never far back. Almost exclusively pickups, very very few larger trucks delivering the trailers. I suppose because when loaded fuel consumption is close but empty a pickup is probably a good margin better. |
