Central Illinois | Monitoring is a slippery slope. First driving, then monitoring your spending.
Health insurance company wants to monitor your purchase.
Company then says your spending too much on junk food (their definition) and alcohol so we are increasing your premiums.
Consider all the information that is collected now, government and private industry.
Not to make this political, but some people think they know what is best for us and they are promoting changes that affect our choices. Just consider the damage done with the response to covid. The people that think they know best and want to direct behavior based on their direction can not have sufficient knowledge of the facts to made decisions that control everyone actions.
When Individuals make personal decisions they base those on their own knowledge of their particular situation. And yes, maybe they buy sugar coke is small bottles, but it is their decision and they are responsible for their own actions.
You may not approve of others actions, but you (i.e. those wanting rules for all to follow) do not have sufficient facts to make decisions about others, esp. all others to make a rule for all.
Just say’n, your opinion may differ. | |
