Have a Johnson tile plow and they (Johnson)suggested a rope from champion rope company with 125000# pull capacity. Also got clevis’ from champion. Not a stretchy rope. Rope hooked under tractor to the hitch on my pull type tile plow.

That said we started pulling the plow with tile partners 9530 jd instead of my older 375 hp buhler versatile. He pulls it much easier and haven’t hooked to the rope in at least 4 years. Sometimes he slips a lot but still pulls it.max depth on plow is around 5 1/2 feet. Use a 6” boot for 6,5,and 4”.

One of my stringers was built by McCormick equipment , I think from pleasantville iowa. Not sure if they still build them but I’m extremely happy with it every time that I use it. I’d consider getting another without looking at others.
