Illinois | I like the looks of the 8000s that have had the front axle moved forward. I do think this series of tractor is one of the best looking ever built, and they were pretty darn good tractors too. It would have been really great to see them continued and see how they evolved going forward. It was a poor move on Deutz’s part to not use that tractor and then destroy tooling, because otherwise I think Agco would have picked them back up.
I didn’t intend to be so negative by saying the 8095s are ugly. That’s just my opinion. I’m really glad Ethan has them. He can confirm, but I believe he has somewhat of a prototype N7 or R7 combine also, one that has a lot of the next series features on it. Several years ago, the poster named Biscuit had pics of running an N combine with a brand new prototype cab. That cab never went to production, but it would be really neat to latch on to that combine if it still exists. | |
