Kinda a project for the wife and kids. We have 3 sows and a boar. This is our first batch of piglets. So far 20 out of 21 have survived.
When the oldest got into ffa, the ag teacher started a Bucher pig project. Reject show pigs were given to the kids and they fed them out, tracking their weight etc. She tried showing one year, but she didn't enjoy all the "show stuff", but she liked taking care of the pigs. My wife discovered this breed and wanted to try them.
