Iowa | We have 1 1/4” cable under the plow tractor and then use a 2” lifting strap doubled up to the dozer to pull. Broke the strap for the first time this fall it is rated at something like 39,000 lbs I believe, broke where is was looped through the eye of the cable. Will probably replace with the same strength/weight rating since something has to be the weakest link and it is a somewhat inexpensive strap. Broke several heavy log chains in the past. Cable route is probably actually cheaper and safer | |
