I guess I’m counter most on here. “Here” I don’t feel like cattle are that much work. I am on the upper medium sized for here 300hd. Between cornstalks and calving in May/June. We don’t spend 10hrs/week on cattle even now. We take normal vacations. Don’t really feel like I have to be there every single day. It’s not that much work if you set it up right. Irrigating corn in the summer is way more work. I had an old cowboy that taught me the proper way to hitch a team tell me “manage your time, it your most valuable asset.”
