Deere excavator cylinders are similar. 6000 to 7000 lb/ft. Local hydraulic shop built a system for disassembling the nut from the rod that chains down to 4 large floor anchors and uses a very thick 8" H beam as the attachment point for a 2" cylinder that spin the nuts about 1/8 of a turn at a time. The whole H beam bows under torque.

For the OP, I'd consider a thick slab aluminum bench so you have less risk of scratching the pricy components.
