Has been mentioned but what about a 276 this engine was used in several tractors, pumps, compressors etc. Should be many available they were used both naturally aspirated and turbocharged. On the low end they were around 70 hp on the high end some were pushing 140. A turbo charged 80-100 hp one would make a peppy 3020.
Years ago I put a turbo charged 276 into a 3020 diesel with a bad block. Don't remember all the details anymore, but it was a snappy 3020 when finished. IIRC, it had 100 pto hp.
Took me awhile to get it done, but it turned out nice. |
