My free advice is buy an old 854 rogator and see how you like it. Not just the machine but the entire experience. You can find lots of decent old sprayers for under $25k and as long as you don't have a major failure it should hold its value. If you don't like it after a year get rid of it. My first sprayer was a 1997 854 rogator and I would still be running it if didn't need to spray as many acres at 20 gallons as I do. You can throttle them back and still have enough power if you are on relatively flat firm ground but still not a quiet cab. I would say 380 tires would be too wide, even on 30 inch rows I see more compaction issues as compared to 320s. Possibly just due to the fact that bigger sprayers weigh more but still an issue. Wider booms would be better 120 would be ideal. That way you would run down the same tracks you made when planting where the ground is already compacted somewhat, that also gives you a bit more flotation in soft conditions and reduces rutting.
