Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | You are likely correct but I have heard about problems when tying into a Deere system that uses a flow meter for wheel position. I do get error messages from the combine itself from time to time referring to the flow meter that is present for use with Deere auto steer. I assume this flow meter would be used with the Ag Leader Steer Command or Steer Command Z2 systems as well.
With Steady Steer there is no connection to the Deere system at all since it just turns the steering wheel for me. I just disregard the steering error message as it has no effect on Steady Steer. The error message can be cancelled or clears on its own. In the meantime I just continue harvesting using Steady Steer either with the Steady Steer Controller based on AB lines in soybeans or the Truesight II controller based on feelers on the corn head.
I've likely spent more than necessary but I'm happy with the results.
