| The original 3020 engine is very difficult to find and very expensive if you do. Only used in the 3020 and a certain backhoe I believe. There are no Deere engines that will easily adapt to the 3020 as a bolt in swap. As always, with enough time, money and skill, anything can be done.
A few years ago, I found one for a friend in Oregon or Washington state that was 5k for the engine plus shipping both ways for the core. He scrapped the tractor.
