Southwest Texas | I’ve got a rotogrind 1090 and gotten along ok with it.
As mentioned in other posts about them, they’re not very fast (maybe 20 5x6 bales an hour) and they’re not fond of wet spots in bales (keep shear bolts handy). Dry straw should be easy with one though.
You’ve got to have the grinder going before you put a bale in so idk how well that would work for bedding barns. I’ve never used mine moving, only stationary. | |
