| Looking good GDAD!!!! Darn lots of work there, do you remember the guys over in Tremonton down by Dewyville-Collinston, Utah all I knew he was Mike Rudd's son had a welding shop. They specialized in big buckets for the mines out in Nevada. I would drive by and see those buckets and just shutter at the amount of steel in them. When it took transport and flag cars just to get bucket to the shop. But I think Covid put them out of business.
They were massive buckets off those shovels in Nevada and Wyoming. I thought I saw a pickup pulled into one of them one day in front of shop.
You would have loved the Cache Valley this winter. I joked with Kent Glenn on the phone yesterday from Glenn's Electric. He was headed out of shop to go fish there local. He's exact words was, dude I'm grabbing my fishing pole and going fishing right now! Said first time I can ever remember just wearing a sweatshirt to fish this time of year.
I've never seen weather like this for northern Utah in 40 plus years. I had lunch with state road plow drivers yesterday. I joked with with them about wearing cutting edges out. They hated this weather, said was spending all their time patching roads coming apart. We never had any hard freeze stay until last few days.
You'll be ready to jump back in that hoe after doing that bucket. Take care. | |
