 Pittsburg, Kansas | Your welcome.
But I will reiterate. If a person is on blood glucose lowering medication, be aware that cutting carbs will lower blood glucose possibly drastically.
Having been an insulin dependent diabetic I am well aware of hypoglycemic episodes. Been there done that numerous times. It can be very dangerous. Once I was able to quit insulin and medication I've never had a low blood sugar level incident since. Seven years now. Much nicer.
But the transition phase could potentially be a killer. It is something to be aware of and manage. Took me about 2 weeks. Get medical help with this transition unless a person is well informed and willing to take their life in their own hands.
If a person is not on blood glucose lowering medication there should be no problem. The liver can produce all the glucose a person needs. There are essential fats and essential amino acids from proteins that are required for life. There are no essential carbohydrates.
