I started using it for my pelvis along with a few stretching exercises. Just make sure you set it for your height an maybe and inch longer. Too short and you won't be able to raise back up. I forgot to readjust it from my wife's height . Luckily, I don't do completely vertical like she does, so I was able too raise my myself up, but it took everything I had to do it.
