Cannot purchase open cows to rebreed in South Dakota. Not sure why someone would want to. 99% of them came up open for a reason. The 1% that’ll rebreed the next nine years isn’t worth the risk of bringing disease into your operation. For example: bringing trich into your herd will take your extra bull power and turn it into no bull power in a hurry.
