Subject: RE: Generator for drone trailer

Southern Missouri
Two drones ,one crew , ceres c31 31 gallon capacity drone takes 6 chargers that use 9000 kw each or 54000 kw just the 6 chargers , then at least 2 times 2 inch electric water pumps , A/C cab system to get operator out of chemicals and heat ,cab system has many items that pull a little 110 volt juice (Todd), it doesn’t take long at all and your at 100 kw ,three of those setups out of our little shop for just the very local little area this winter , as I say in the generator size post below this one ,it’s easy to rig up generator and panels early and grow into them . One of those setups that’s just about complete out of the shop is running 2 hd 580 drones that are a little smaller and a little less battery but everything else on the list ,he currently has an 80 kw generator for that setup and he’s worried that he’s running on the edge . No doubt these size system’s are the current leading edge in drone spray world but won’t be long these will be on the smaller side . We’re north edge of rice country and drones have been an obsolute game changer in being able to spray consistently wet rice land right next to any other kind of crop all season long , herbicide, fungicide and crop stimulants, we have many many spots here where in a four corner crossroad you’ll have soybeans, corn , rice and cotton all coming together at that crossroad . No way every one needs that much generator kw but they aren’t that costly to have the capability to grow right into them and like I say depends on if you’re serious about having a drone spraying setup for a good sized farm ,if so my opinion it’s better to start large and grow into it .To each his own but no way I’m having humans I’m familiar with standing or setting out in that chemical drift all day long .
