Freedom, WI | Been thinking about getting a bedding chopper around for a while to grind straw prior to throwing it in the mixer to cut down on mixing time and just do a better job all around with particle length. Chopping and bagging straw would be the way to go but bales are easier to buy and at this point just give me more flexibility. Looking to grind about 250 3x3x7s a year for the dry cow rations and some general straw bedding so I want most of it ground pretty fine. Any pros or cons to either machine? | |
