| Curious if anyone has ever had any custom feed pellets made ?
What do you think a mill would charge per ton to grind and pellet everything together? I would bring several of my own ingredients to their mill.
Maybe a dumb thought but something I have thought about.
I have not found a local mill that is making pellets currently, but I also haven't called very many places, thought I would start here.
I am wanting to have some custom pellets made for sheep herd to make feeding easier each day without having to mix all the ingredients. I drylot the herd and mixing feed takes little more time than id like. A couple of my ingredients I have to buy a years supply at a time and thought maybe if I just bought everything all at once and then went to a feed mill and had them grid and maybe turn into a pellet for me that it would store easy ( I am in very arid climate west Texas) and would make daily feeding a breeze. | |
