West Central Illinois | Ive had great luck with these I have a few theyre pretty popular locally.I can think of only 1 time having it froze up and it was when only had a 2 or 3 head up at the barn drinking off it and had very cold weather. As long as you have 10 hd like they recommend you won't have a problem just need to train cattle to use the lids which is easy only takes a day or 2 just need to wire a little piece of wood under the lid so it doesn't close all the way while they're learning to use it. Im on all well water so cant say if city water would work as well if its not as warm a temp as what comes from the well.
