Damn. It was froze are you really happy now?? It took 15 sec to get it open while on the spot feeding cows....so not much of any effort as far as inconvenience. My froze is when it won't open until spring thaw. Damn, even Ritchie's aren't that bad. Pry the lid off, dump in a cooler of hot water and seal it up....wow real big deal. Are you feeling OK? Normally you act normal, not so much on this deal
Actually I have a headache and may be getting sick. End of year paperwork crap. But I feel better now that you admitted it was froze! lol
Just disgusted with the idea that cobbets are trouble free.
I would hate for someone to think they can buy one and not have to break ice. If you know going into it that you will have to break ice might as well buy something with a heater or a piss valve so you don't have to break ice.
Ya they don't take long to break open, but you still have to break them open.
If you wanted to set enough hay out to skip seeing a group for 2 or 3 days you just can't do that if the cattle are drinking from a cobbett. As soon as you think they will be fine they will be froze.
