SW WI | The argument of wrenching things yourself vs hiring out comes to mind. If you don’t have livestock…..you better be turning wrenches yourself…..if not, what are you doing to occupy your time? Productively…..?
Here….I’ll fix what I can, if I can in a timely manner. But livestock care comes FIRST. The amount of $ tied up in them is sobering, let alone what it means to my bottom line, to get them to market, efficiently and healthy.
If I could easily double my cattle numbers and give up rented land that’s just cash crop to me…. I would make that trade every damn day.
