 Pittsburg, Kansas | After it is all said and done and everybody has eaten their fill of desired slices, Carolynn takes any burnt ends, fat, tough gristle parts, chops up to bite size and adds back the drained juices and makes soup. Adds in onions and maybe even some saved chicken broth if she has it. Delicious. I enjoyed the soup it as much as the original meal.
We had prime rib a friend made for Christmas dinner for 16 people. After all the festivities were over, we got the leftover prime rib. Into soup it went. Delicious.
