Pittsburg, Kansas | My personal experience is quite faster than that. Took me two weeks to stop my insulin shots. Though the first week we only reduced our carbohydrate load by half. It was the beginning of the second week where we went to no more than 20 grams carbs total and had cut my insulin shots in half. By the end of that second week had to cease insulin entirely or my blood sugar would go too low. But I digress.
This researcher I have learned more about my disease than from any other single person, although I have learned a lot from numerous on line doctors and researchers. Any diabetic would do well to listen to this researcher Benjamin Bikman.
Conventional medical wisdom says diabetes type II is a chronic, progressive disease. No reversing it. I am living proof N=1 they don't know everything.

Edit: I had been diabetic for over 35 years at that point. 20 or more insulin dependent. Reversed my diabetes 7 years ago come this February. Still reversed. Not cured, but reversed and on no medication for it. All by changing what I eat. Or don't eat.
