Papillion, NE | I put a pro700+ in my 290, I like the bright screen and processor speed. My praise ends there.
There are some annoying glitches with iso coverage maps not updating sometimes and with how the line selection screen zooms in and out. Since I use all fixed lines, it’s an issue for me. I reported it to my dealer.
I was really hoping there would be some flexibility in layouts of the tabs, there are not … it all looks like your pro700. I flip between iso and guidance screens a 100 times a day. (Viper4 has way more flexibility.)
I was told that swapping back to my old Pro700’s in the tractor was not a viable option because of the software combination between the monitor and guidance controllers. Service call would be required to switch.
I got mine when they still had a great trade value on pro600’s so it sorta made sense from a fleet standpoint for me. But it was still expensive.
For legacy pro700’s, just keep the volume of data on the flash drive down and everything works better.
