I think mainly it is the length of the pipe. The sink is on the South wall of the kitchen and the pipe goes all the way under the kitchen floor (appx 12 ') befor it ties into the sewer drain on the North. Also I think it may need vented somehow but I'm not highly knowledgable about plumbing.
