Subject: Tree Shear

Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass
Specifically what to do to manage sprouts on ground that has either had one of the forestry mowers, rotary brush cutter or a tree shear.

Backstory, have ground that am trying to get cleared. Have been using a chainsaw and hand sprayer to cut and treat stumps. That works fine but not fast. Looking at a shear to speed things up but likely wont be able to get the stumps treated as cut. Will be a lot of honey locust, some hedge, some pine oak, some mulberry

What’s the best way to manage these fields after shearing? Let them regrow and treat either this summer or next?
