I think you made the right choices for you and I am happy for you!!
I lost my wife 5 years ago, my kids are grown and very capable of taking care of themselves, well at least when the youngest is finished with her Vet degree
Some of us have nothing better to do. We all need a carrot of some sort to find purpose and move.
