Thanks! Now if only I couild remember what I have learned. Seems like I have to relearn things over and over. A slow learner.

"The alternatives have enormous flaws".

That is one problem with a lot of things. Our constitutional republic has a lot of problems. A lot of flaws, particularly in the way it has been run the last 50 or more years. But it is still the best in the world in my opinion. The reality is there are almost no "perfect" things in our life. Banking, politics, you name it. But we always have to pick the best available from imperfect choices and move on down the road. Life does not stop because it is not perfect. The sun continues to rise each morning.

From my perspective, life is great. I give thanks every morning when I rise. Or as Joe Walsh said in the song, "Life's been good to me so far".
