I learned the multiplication table, and am still familiar with it. Same with cursive writing....point being is skills are lost when reliance on something else is afoot. 3Rs are still relevant today....there are university "educated" people today who can not do basic math,
Via Google's search engine, its artificial intelligence (AI) response is good overall, but it can screw the pooch in various ways. Google does provide cites, which is good, but it is best to confirm what the original author has said. Even then, the original author may have screwed the pooch. I'm capable of doing this--confirming what was read--unless the topic is beyond my comprehension. |
