| A lot to unpack there but I mostly agree with you. Sub-prime housing was a result of government stupidity, deflect as they may try. The other parties, while not the root cause, exacerbated and are still culpable. Privatize the profit, socialize the losses. I see no end in sight either. I've banked (community bank) a long time and farmed a long time. Bank has never gotten a payment from government, but benefitted indirectly (with the exception being PPP commissions). Farm gets direct ACH and indirect benefits. Play the hand we are dealt I suppose. | |
