| Most years here in Central illinois you can drive around in the summer and pick out the guys that are 100% fall aa and the guys that split shot nitrogen. I wish more companies had a chart like wyffels for yield component % of total flex. Hybrids that are a high % for kernel weight benefit greatly from later season nitrogen and fungicide. Wyffels claims on these hybrids you can gain 1.5 bushel/acre for every day you can keep the plant healthy during grain fill. 7876 is a perfect example it is 53% for kernel weight and responds well to fungicide and later season nitrogen. | |
