Couple instances, here. That once a “retirement” sale was announced, the assets came no where near to covering debt/ loan amounts.

How did that happen without a major downturn in land, commodity prices or crop failure.

Shouldn’t the plug be pulled, longer before? Almost as if they wanted to get a guy in so deep, that they, then had complete leverage of decision making and ultimately, put the land up on auction, where an insider to the board, then bought that land.


There’s a couple stories to be told but will get way too long. Comes down to….believe me or not about SOME bankers may not have your long term interests, at heart.

And some are great to work with.
