Iowa | I wish the farm made that kind of money in one year. There was probably 5-7 years of very few machinery purchases/ paying the income tax/ and putting what was left in the bank saving up for this plus we had the opportunity to sell grain for some good/better prices a few of those years.
Our farm is in no position to buy land at current prices every year. It's more like an every 5-10 year deal.
