I would say that stock ranking chart has a qualifier added to it like mid cap only stocks. I picked up Santa Cruz Silver back in April and it didn't make that Seeking Alpha chart.

There are a lot of junior miners that need this exact environment to get going - lots of easy capital investment to develop the mine and create the initial prosperity. After that, provided the property has proven reserves, the operation will cash flow for another 10 years. But the risk with junior miners is always that initial funding to get the mine to cash flow initially. And that is where the big gains are.

Of course, the flip side is a mine without good grade ore, or solid reserves that leads to that initial capital flowing into any company with "silver" in the name only to find the mine really isn't viable a few years later.
