mercer county, il | I don’t ever plan to be debt free. But for now I only have land mortgages, and an operating note that’s about 1/4-1/3 of my total operating expenses.
This picture is going to change soon though. We need more bin space, another semi, another combine, a pivot and well on one farm, and another finishing building, and the kids want to expand the cowherd.
So there will be some more debt coming. But we’re growing pretty rapidly too.
Just for a frame of reference, I’m 39, and started out around 22 when I got out of the army, and went out on my own. | |
