Iowa | There was a father/son that were good friends and neighbors of ours. They bought a good amount of ground through the years and also rented a fair amount too.
One day the father stopped by and said he let part of the rented ground go and set his son up with the rest. He was just going to farm what He owned and I got the impression He was operating on cash. He said it was a lot more fun farming with no banker or landlords to worry about. He's not the only older guy who has told me that. | |
